Attention Students, Staff, & Faculty:

The Blackboard Vista system (https://vista.accd.edu) will be unavailable from Sunday, May 31st 8:00AM through Tuesday, June 2nd 8:00 AM. In an effort to improve system reliability and performance, we will be re-hosting Blackboard Vista on the Alamo Colleges network.  This outage will impact faculty and students who use Blackboard Vista for their online courses. We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause; however Alamo Colleges District ITS will work diligently to minimize downtime while maximizing system performance.Furthermore, after the re-hosting is complete, we ask that our users email any performance issues to bbvsupport@mail.accd.edu.  In an ongoing effort to provide optimal support, your feedback is essential in helping us to ensure the highest level of service from the Blackboard Vista system.

Dear Employees,

The Support Central office will be open during the holiday weekend.  Our office hours for the holiday weekend are as follows:

05/23/2009     Saturday   8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.

05/24/2009     Sunday    12:00 noon to 12:00 midnight

05/25/2009     Monday   12:00 noon to 5:00 p.m.  

During off hours, voice messages will be checked to address critical issues that require immediate attention. We will maintain regular scheduled system hours for Saturday and Sunday.  Due to the closure of all Administrative Offices during the holiday weekend, the Web for Students/Faculty/Employees will not be available on Monday May 25, 2009.  Web For services will return to its normal operating hours on Tuesday May 26, 2009.  As always, we are here to serve your technical needs.  For other system related updates, please regularly check our System Alert Facility located at the bottom right of www.accd.edu/it.
